A reputable multi-location cooperative seeks an aggressive, highly organized, and motivated Agronomy Location Manager. This position will focus on directing, promoting, coordinating, budgeting, and forecasting for the Agronomy division.  The person in this position will be responsible for all agronomy operations including, but not limited to: dry fertilizer plant, liquid fertilizer plant, crop nutrients, crop protection products, custom application, and bulk seed.   Duties will also include daily supervision of employees, inventory control, product purchasing, pricing and responsibility for department profitability.

This company is a profitable company, and the location is about $2.5MM currently and is profitable, but has the potential to be doubled.  Key attributes desired are strong communication skills, leadership, sales drive, supervisory expertise and a desire to drive profitability and growth. Our ideal candidate should have a degree in Agronomy or equivalent agronomy management experience and be willing to obtain a Certified Crop Advisor status if don’t have already.  Please contact me ASAP if interested, as these manager-type positions do not come open very often, and are not on the market long.
