Aircraft Electrical Installer Associate Sr

The Platform Integration Division provides innovative solutions for major structural modifications and systems integration to military and commercial aircraft. The division has operations in Waco, Texas; Crestview, Fla.; and Warner-Robins, Ga.


Job Responsibilities: Performs a wide variety of moderately complex electrical and avionics removal, layout, fabrication, installation, repair and modification on aircraft and electrical support systems. Interprets and follows engineering drawings, and checks work correctness. Checks, tests and troubleshoots systems for conformance to specifications. Sets highest ethical standards for self and others. May be a Service Contract Acto (SCA) covered position. Other duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications:

• Aircraft Related Assoc degree or A&P license + a minimum of 2 years aircraft electrical experience.

• With H/S diploma or GED must have a minimum of 4 years aircraft electrical experience.

• Must be eligible to work any shift and work overtime hours as required.

• May be required to be certified to operate self-propelled vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts and aircraft tow vehicles.

• Must have approved safety shoes.

• Must have own tools. If hired, tools must be shadowed. L-3/IS will provide the material to complete this task.


• Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
