Allied Health - Instructor

Come make a difference in a student’s life. Medix School West is a private, post secondary career school located in Baltimore, Maryland. We are looking for a Medical Assisting Instructor for our Allied Health programs. Part Time (day and evening) positions are available.


 



REQUIREMENTS:




  • Medical Assistant Certification or higher


  • Minimum of 1 year teaching experience


  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a medical office or clinical setting required


  • Must have demonstrable management skills


  • Must be professional and proficient in anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, phlebotomy, lab assisting, EKG, and medical office administration


  • Individual must possess strong oral and written communication proficiency


  • Position requires exceptional social interaction skills


  • Individual must be professional in all aspects of the position, including appearance, demeanor and attitude
