Position Purpose
The purpose of this position is to provide reporting and analytical support to the Corporate Finance department for the North America RAPP network. The Financial Analyst will report to the Corporate Finance Director and assist in all aspects of network analysis and Omnicom reporting. The Financial Analyst will also work with the Shared Services Group and the VP Finance to ensure reporting deadlines and reconciliations are completed timely and accurately.
Duties and Responsibilities of Junior Analyst
Responsible, in conjunction with Corporate Finance Manager, for accurate and timely compilation and reporting of financial information in accordance with RAPP and DAS / Omnicom policies
- Maintain deadlines and reporting calendars in order to meet DAS / Omnicom deadlines
- Compilation of monthly working capital management information for submission to Omnicom Treasury
- Responsible for attendance of monthly Working Capital Management meetings
- Distribute receivables report weekly to Finance Directors and Client Financial Managers and follow-up on aged items
- Maintain and update revenue tracker database and generate weekly reports for review
- Responsible for working with Corporate Finance Manager to compile and review information and documentation for all audits
- Responsible for timely submission of quarterly Sarbanes Oxley testing
- Reconciliation and analysis of key general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
- Reconciliation of intercompany balance variance for quarterly reporting
- Responsible for compilation and analysis of quarterly reporting files
- Responsible for working with Corporate Finance Manager to reconcile PeopleSoft ledgers to consolidated reporting package on a quarterly basis
- Responsible for timely submission of miscellaneous reporting by DAS / Omnicom

Required Experience
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-2 years accounting experience
- Finance / Accounting degree preferred
- Strong computer skills (particularly MS Excel), PeopleSoft experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills; interpersonal skills; self-starter
