Savills LLC, a global, full-service real estate investment banking firm providing world-class investment sales, debt and equity capitalization and advisory services nationally, is currently seeking an associate/analyst level professional to join our New York office.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience in real estate financial analysis and modeling and be proficient in the use of Argus and Microsoft Excel.
Candidates should have a strong analytical background and be able to analyze historical financial statements, operating budgets, leases and related documents.
Superior written skills are also extremely important.
Responsibilities generally include gathering and evaluating real estate market data, assisting in the preparation of investment sales and debt/equity capitalization offering memoranda, reviewing lease documents and other related materials, and assisting in the development of pro forma financial models.
Some background with business/offering memorandum writing is preferred.
The candidate would also be responsible for maintaining and updating quarterly market sections for primary markets as well as proprietary transaction databases.
Research responsibilities will also include distributing relevant market news on a daily basis.
Knowledge of the New York real estate market is a plus.
