Summary:
Provides expert consultation in the securing of computer and network communication systems. Specialized experience required includes the analysis, design and implementation of security procedures of hardware and software on complex, large-scale systems. This position will serve will provide support in certification and accreditations, provide IA support,
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
1. Provide IA support to the networks from a vulnerability standpoint
2. Ensure workstations/servers patches and AV signatures are up to date
3. Perform retina and gold disk scan on workstations, servers and devices
4. Make stig changes to workstations, servers and devices
5. Act as CCB coordinator in completing certification and accreditation (Siprnet and Jwics)
6. Assist government IA manager in ensuring all policies and procedures are followed
7. Manage and maintain security internet and intranet web servers.
8. Manage remote access services and a DNS server.
9. Implement and maintain COOP procedures
10. Provide help desk support to include problem solutions and user satisfaction.
11. Perform system administration functions.
12. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Supervision:
May provide specific task direction to staff but does not have formal supervisory responsibility.
Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
State-of-the-art storage and retrieval methods are required as well as the ability to formulate specifications for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging of computer programs. Must have knowledge of and the ability to maintain JWICS, NIPRNET, and SIPRNET
Education and/or Experience:
BS/BA Degree; four to six years working experience at this level; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Computer Skills:
Must have advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.

Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI
