Analyst, Subpoena

The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Subpoena Analyst for our Legal Affairs Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will fill one slot on our four-member Subpoena Compliance Team and will assist two Subpoena Paralegals in responding to requests from civil parties and law enforcement agencies around the country seeking information regarding the company's subscribers and other business records. Duties include regular contact with law enforcement agencies and serving parties, use of online automated tools to research subscriber records, contact with operating divisions to collect account and business records, maintenance of a database to track all requests and the status of each, and preparation of subpoena responses.

EDUCATION: High-school degree required, college degree preferred. Paralegal experience helpful.

SCOPE: Analyst reports to Director, Compliance and Legal Affairs and takes direction from and supports to Subpoena Paralegals and two Senior Paralegals. Candidate will interact with law enforcement and government personnel, civil parties, and multiple TWC corporate and division personnel.

SPECIAL SKILLS: This position is fast-paced and detail oriented. It requires excellent organizational, interpersonal, writing, and proofreading skills. Candidate should be able to prioritize assignments and to work independently, as well as with others, and possess a willingness to learn. The position may require after hours on-call availability for the purpose of dealing with emergency situations.

SOFTWARE REQUIRED: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access, Windows

HUMAN RELATIONS: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Candidate will interface with employees at various levels of the organization, with company attorneys as well as outside counsel, and with law enforcement agencies around the country.
