This position is located in our UT, Hill AFB facility
Provide OO-ALC and its associated subordinate units with Information Technology (IT) solution services as required to complement the existing military and civilian work forces for the security certification accreditation of information systems supporting the OO-ALC to achieve more secure information system by: enabling more consistent, comparable, and repeatable assessments of security controls in federal information systems; promoting a better understanding of agency-related mission risks resulting from the operation of information systems; and creating more complete, reliable, and trustworthy information for authorizing officials - to facilitate more informed security accreditation decisions. Provide security certification and accreditation services to support a risk management process as an integral part of OO-ALC's information security program to satisfy policy requirements of DIACAP IAW DoDI 8510.01, DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), and AFI 33-210, Air Force Certification and Accreditation (C&A) Program (AFCAP) to complete Information Technology Lean and Security, Interoperability, Supportability, Sustainability, and Usability (SISSU) checklist in the Enterprise Information Technology Data Repository (EITDR).
Work as part of a government civilian/military and contractor team to ensure compliance with system security requirements.
Participate in an ongoing security accreditation process:
1. The Initiation Phase consists of three tasks: (a) preparation; (b) notification and resource identification; and (c) system security plan analysis, update, and acceptance.
2.The Security Certification Phase consists of two tasks: (a) security control assessment; and (b) security certification documentation.
3. The Security Accreditation Phase consists of two tasks: (a) security accreditation decision; and (b) security accreditation documentation.
4. The Continuous Monitoring Phase consists of three tasks: (a) configuration management and control; (b) security control monitoring; and (c) status reporting and documentation
Develop and present documentation to the customer as required.
Requires BS/BA degree.
Experience supporting government information systems a plus.
Must be familiar with DIACAP requirements IAW DoDI 8510.01, DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), and AFI 33-210, Air Force Certification and Accreditation (C&A) Program (AFCAP)
Requires 2-5 years experience preferably in information management or information security.
Must have or be capable of obtaining a security clearance before start of work.
