Mobile Video Technology Company based in Overland Park, KS, seeks an experienced Android developer to enhance and maintain our mobile video client and related platform targeted toward the Open Mobile ecosystem.

Experience needed

Knowledge of the Google Android platform is Essential

Expertise developing in Java is required

Rich Client (non-Web) development / UI for Mobile App development

Mobile Application Development

Excellent programming skills in Java required

Database administration

User management

Understanding of XML/RTSP

Understanding of Google Marketplace

User Experience and Design expertise

- Knowledge of other mobile platforms such as iPhone, Symbian, Windows Mobile (CE), Linux-mobile, BREW, or equivalent are also highly desirable but not required.

- Experience in Objective C, Cocoa, and other iPhone development tools are highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be able to work in small teams, able to execute on ideas in days instead of months, able to stay motivated and efficient when working  independently. The candidate must be able to consider and optimize the user experience. The developer will be responsible for taking ideas and designing, implementing, testing, refining, and maintaining solutions.
