Apartment Leasing/Customer Service Rep.

About the Job

Community Property Management Corporation has an immediate part-time (25-35 hours per week) opening for a Leasing Professional/Customer Service Representative at Villa Royale Apartments in Kenosha, WI.  This position will require candidates to be available Saturday (10am - 4pm) and Sunday (12:00pm - 4:00pm).  Days and hours may rotate Monday - Friday.


 


Description


Position plays a key role in effectively accomplishing the goal of providing residents with a clean, well-maintained living environment. To accomplish this goal, the responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to, rental of vacant apartments (including showing apartments, closing the sale and preparing lease packages), renewal of leases, rent collections, answering telephones, completing service requests and any other job related duties, as directed by their supervisor. They also assist the Site Manager with handling customer requests and problems, coordination of paper work between customers, vendors, site office and corporate office, verifying applicant information and approval of rental applications, coordination of general maintenance and cleaning of apartments, buildings and grounds, and the coordination of vacant apartment preparation.


 


Requirements


Requires 2 years experience in customer service or property management. This person must be able to work weekends, the ability to obtain a leasing license within 120 days of employment; when required, knowledge of apartment rental and collection practices, reliable transportation and have good written and verbal communication skills. This position requires someone who has outstanding customer service skills and excels at making the customer their top priority. Applicant must be physically able to lift 25 lbs., climb stairs, walk between buildings, stoop, kneel and bend, and have hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. This person will also have exceptional phone courtesy and be a team player that shows enthusiasm.
