The PeopleSoft Benefits Functional Analyst will be responsible for supporting the implementation of PeopleSoft for the ConnectCarolina project. The analyst will play an active role in the configuration, design, and testing of the Benefits module within the ConnectCarolina solution. This is a time limited position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provides benefits functional expertise for PeopleSoft HCM.
· Translates business requirements into configuration decisions.
· Consults with business unit to obtain additional information during system design and development and evaluates alternatives to application modifications.
· Documents functional business specifications.
· Supports team leadership with task plans and updates for implementation activities
· Helps coordinate and conduct all phases of testing in support of the implementation.
· Provides business process expertise by understanding business direction and designing systems that will support key initiatives.
· Monitors new module upgrades and new releases and communicates relevant findings to the project team.

· Knowledge of PeopleSoft Base Benefits module.
· Knowledge of PeopleSoft Benefits Administration module.
· 2 or more years experience implementing PeopleSoft Base Benefits and Benefits Administration
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Extensive functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Base Benefits and/or Benefits Administration gained through participation in an enterprise implementation is required.
· Experience in all phases of implementing PeopleSoft HCM.
· Exceptional cross-functional understanding of PeopleSoft HCM Modules.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Experience implementing PeopleSoft with a proven SDLC methodology reflecting best practices.
EDUCATION:
· BA/BS from an accredited four year college or university with major course work in business operations/management information systems, computer science or related field or experience.
· Prior University or Higher Education experience highly desired
WORK SCHEDULE: M-F 800 – 500; Overtime should be anticipated.
