As a Business Intelligence Developer you will be responsible for designing and developing analytical reports & dashboards for the Chase Card Data Warehouse group. Primary responsibilities include design and development of universes, Xcelsius dashboards, and Web Intelligence reports using Business Objects XI on a Solaris UNIX environment. Development will involve customization using Business Objects Java SDK. Individual should be proficient in understanding/recommending the end-to-end solutions including data modeling. Individual should have strong analytical and presentation skills and be able to interface independently with the business stakeholders.

Qualifications:
·Minimum of 5 years of Application Development work experience
·Minimum of 5 years Business Objects experience including report development and dimensional data modeling
·Minimum of 2 years of work experience with the Oracle database - strong SQL skills are essential
·Experience with Java, Web Services and Business Objects XI SDK is a preferred

·Experience with Ab Initio development is also preferred.
·Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot issues with Business Objects in a UNIX environment is plus
·Thorough understanding of the SDLC is required. Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills are required.
Must be able to performance tune the application by identifying the root causes of issues and testing alternative solutions.
