Job Description

Seeking a VB.NET
developer OR SharePoint Developer with a minimum of 4 years experience in the
Financial Services industry to work on several major development projects.  The candidate must have proven experience in
programming and scripting languages in the MS Windows environment with
excellent analytical skills to solve current problem issues and understanding
current algorithms in existing code.

VB.Net Skills

>       
Over 4 years experience in VB.NET development is
required

>       
Proficient in scripting languages such as VBScript
and/or Java Script.

>       
Proficient in SQL Server 2005 or later.

>       
Proficient in writing stored procedures,
triggers, functions and views.

>       
Proficient in SQL Reporting Services.

>       
Proven ability to design and report layout.

>       
Proficient in building reports from the ground
up using SQL Reporting services and produce high quality looking reports.

>       
Must have very strong experience in query skills
to build simple and complex reporting queries.

SharePoint Development Skills:

>       
Experience implementing/developing in Microsoft
SharePoint Office Server 2007 (MOSS) / Windows SharePoint Services (WSS)

>       
.NET Development

>       
Proven development and production implementation
experience with Microsoft SharePoint (specifically versions 2003 and/or 2007)

>       
Experience developing custom solutions for
SharePoint using web parts; strong working knowledge of the SharePoint Object
Model

>       
Software development experience including
Website design and development experience using Microsoft ASP.NET, Visual
Studio, SQL Server, etc.

>       
Effective English written and verbal
communications

>       
Ability to clearly communicate technical
concepts to both technical and non-technical users.

>       
Effective client-facing interpersonal skills;
comfortable and effective acting as liaison between multiple technology groups
and representing groups in large scale meetings.

>       
Expertise in all phases of the software
development life cycle (SDLC) including initial design/analysis through
deployment
