Our client is a world-wide supplier of industrial power equipment. They are growing and need to add an Application Engineer to thier staff who will become a product specialist in their variable speed drive group.  The goal is worw with sales and marketing staff to expand the sales of their variable speed drive product line. Requirements:
1. BSEE, BSET, BSME or equivalent work experience and 5+ years of experience in the application of Variable Frequency Drives (AC Inverter Drives)
2. Knowledge of related drive system components such as motors, gear boxes and reducers is helpful.  Also knowledge of fieldbus and industrial technologies is preferable.
3. Must be familiar with standard industrial sales.
4. Requires the ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time.
5. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills are needed in this position.

Duties:
1. You will assist the sales team with the company's variable speed drive product lines by providing technical expertise to both their employees and customers on products and applications.
2. In this position you will execute projects that ensure accuracy of product selection, disseminate technical information and assist with product sales.
3. To accomplish these duties you will be traveling about 50% of the time to meet with clients. Some of the calls will be with the sales staff to serve as the technical expert. At other times you will be needed at start up times to serve as a technical expert to customers
