About the Job

What you will do


The Application Engineer manages client relationships by answering technical questions regarding product and technical support utilizing brand specific catalogs and Solidworks 3-D modeling software.

How you will do it

  • Application Engineer provides technical assistance to customers regarding Fan Coils, Air Handlers, Displacement Ventilation, Chilled Beam and other brand specific parts and products and manufacturing engineers at the production facilities.

  • Support new product development with input and review of drawings and technical feedback.

  • Process orders and shipment data to relay to customers regarding purchasing of products and date of shipment of products from the manufacturing plants.

  • Assist with criteria to help maintain ISO Certifications within the plant facility.

  • Manage customer relations database and follow up on open items with each respective plant.

  • Application Engineer would create and monitor status reports and charts utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel.











What we look for
Required Education and/or Experience:                      

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year College or University in Mechanical Engineering: 

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Excel Spreadsheet software and MS Word, MS PowerPoint Word Processing software.

Other Qualifications
Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time to respective manufacturing plant to audit and follow up on production of products designed.

· Proficiency with SolidWorks experience is strongly preferred
