What you will do


Application Engineer manages client relationships by answering technical questions regarding product and technical support utilizing brand specific catalogs and Solidworks 3-D modeling software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Application Engineer provides technical assistance to customers regarding grills, registers, diffusers and other brand specific parts and products and manufacturing engineers at the production facilities.

Support new product development with input and review of drawings and technical feedback.

Process orders and shipment data to relay to customers regarding purchasing of products and date of shipment of products from the manufacturing plants.

Assist with criteria to help maintain ISO Certifications within the plant facility.

Manage CAR database and follow up on open items with each respective plant.

Application Engineer would create and monitor status reports and charts utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel.

What you will need


Strong attention to detail is essential to be successful as an Application Engineer.  Must be able to creatively problem solve while using the materials and facts at hand.  Excellent interpersonal skills and flexibility to work on multiple projects and assignments is critical.

Education and/or Experience   


Bachelor's Degree (B. A.) Mechanical Engineering

two to three years of hands on SolidWorks experience is required; Master's Degree preferred.
