Delaney Software Services is looking for a highly effective Application Architect to join our team. This person will participate in the overall strategy, standardization, analysis, design, and implementation of a client initiative. This key member of our team develops and communicates the detailed technology architecture and implementation strategy for a solution to the client and project team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    * Leads large-scale business application design efforts

    * Independently interact with client organizations

    * Demonstrate expertise with a broad set of development tools/technologies

    * Have a firm understanding of design methods and architectures

    * Assist the Project Manager in establishing team goals and objectives

    * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

    * 3+ yrs in application architecture / enterprise architecture, systems integration and development, package implementation, relational databases, with knowledge of multiple technologies and interactive design

    * Expertise in multiple technology platforms/languages: JSP, J2EE /JEE, .NET, HTML, DHTML, XML, SOAP, Javascript, MVC patterns, JavaScript, Java, SQL, C/C++, C#, COM

    * Ability to define, create and complete a technical task without guidance

    * Experience in full lifecycle software development processes and methods

    * Ability to articulate a vision of the total solution Education and/or Experience
