We have an immediate opening for an Application Programmer/Analyst in our Corporate office located in the White Marsh, MD area.
As an Application Programmer/Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
· Provide support for various production Data Warehouse cubes and reports.
· Work with users to design and develop new Data Warehouse cubes and reports.
· Develop an in depth knowledge of the Williams Scotsman Data Warehouse environment including its data source systems, structures, elements, attributes, and dimensions.
· Review and analyze requests for additions or modifications to the Williams Scotsman Data Warehouse environment and reports.
· Consult with users and IT team members to troubleshoot and resolve data issues.
· Develop technical expertise in Cognos, Oracle ODI, and overall Data Warehouse methodologies and best practices.
· Provide technical expertise in evaluating and performing upgrades to the Cognos and Oracle ODI environments.
Qualified Candidates will have:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field or equivalent experience.
· 1-3 years experience developing Cognos reports and data marts.
· 1-2 year experience developing Data Warehouse structures and cubes utilizing Cognos Framework Manager and Transformer.
· 1-3 years experience developing database queries utilizing Oracle PL/ SQL..
- Experience working within a structured SDLC environment.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Oracle ODI preferred.
