Application Specialist
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical support to Biotech Customers and Sales Representatives of the Validation Services program. The position is based on the East Coast, preferably in the Boston vicinity.
Direct communication with Product and Project Managers, Validation Services Sales Reps, and customers.
Attendance at sales meetings.
Assistance with training at customer facilities as needed.
Specific duties include:
Provide technical support to Biotech customers as required (presentations, practical demonstrations where applicable).
Customer visits with Sales Reps to provide technical support.
Attend Conferences as a speaker for Validation Services
Attend Tradeshows.
Team oriented environment requires full participation in new business development and setting company direction and goals.
Travel up to 70%.
Qualifications:
Minimum of B.S. in chemistry; additional coursework in statistics and mathematics is preferred.Experience using High Performance Liquid Chromatography and Gas Chromatography essential.Knowledge of general analytical chemist practices as they pertain to extractable and leachable testing. Any coursework, experience or qualification in microbiology/biological sciences will be considered a plus, but is not essential.
