Reporting to:    Production Support Manager


Position Description:


The Application Support Analyst is responsible for initial triage of production support tickets, communication with customers and providing internal testing of the production support releases.


Key Objectives of Position:



  • Provide customer support to users of the US Insurance Applications.
  • Triage tickets and gather additional information.
  • Provide internal testing (QA) for Production Support releases.

Major Responsibilities:



  • Initial triage of incoming production support tickets.
  • Resolution of Tier 1 tickets (unlocking contracts, unlocking users, new employee/user set up, etc.)
  • Appropriate assignment to the Tier 2 and Tier 3 team members.
  • Documentation of internal training sessions.
  • Communicating information specific to Business Unit process and procedures to business groups.
  • Testing of modifications prior to their release into production.
  • Movement of forms and reports to production for release management.
  • Special projects as assigned.

 Qualifications:



  • P&C Insurance Industry Experience of 3+ years.
  • Software QA experience preferred.
  • Bachelors degree or 5+ years relevant experience.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, disciplined, and organized.
  • Team work orientation a must.
