Responsibilities

  • Develops, directs, and assists in the preparation of moderately complex computer solutions in the maintenance and modification of new and currently used programs.
  • Develops new programs of basic to moderate complexity.
  • Performs modeling, simulations, and analysis.
  • Prepares program test data, tests and debugs programs.
  • Documents all procedures.
  • Programmer required to develop and maintain insurance related and other programs.

 

Qualifications

  • knowledge of AS/400, COBOL, RPG, SDA, SEU, CL, SQL statements
  • Microsoft Office products.
  • Property and Causality insurance terminology WebSphere Studio Screen Design Aid Utility SEU source edit utility FTP support with knowledge of FTPS (SSL)
  • QA Testing
  • Database Development in DB2
  • Data Modeling, Analysis Skills
  • Business Analysis
  • 4 year degree plus 3-5 years experience
