SUMMARY: As the Application Training Specialist on site at our customer in Palo Alto, you will be responsible for functional and technical on-site, remote, classroom and distance learning application training for our Radwhere solution. - Provide customer implementation guidance with regards to application training needs during new customer implementations based on best practice experience
- Provide ongoing product functional and technical training with the customers
- Identify, recommend and implement system configuration recommendations and perform on-site system set-ups and configurations.
- Resolve customer’s application questions or problems in the areas of system configuration/setup, and product functionality. This includes referral and interfacing to appropriate Nuance departments for follow-up, testing and troubleshooting.
- Provide guidance, expertise and consulting to customer’s functional administrators in the assessment of training needs and assist in the design of appropriate training
- Maintains up-to-date advanced knowledge for all defined core products as defined for this level and assigned specialized products
- Coordinate and supervise all Application upgrades
- Maintain billable hours at or above current requirements and complete data entry requirements.
- Provide written analysis of customer’s issues, concerns, successes and forwards to internal team consisting of Project Manager/Implementation Consultant, ATS Manager, sales, support and posts in appropriate web site.
- Actively participate in beta programs. Provide new ATS mentorship and shadowing responsibilities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree with related relevant training experience and technical knowledge.
- At least 5 years of training experience preferably in a healthcare environment
- Able to resolve product/software problems utilizing technical support services when necessary via on-site, telephone, both verbally and through remote communication packages.
- Strong training, written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working on site at a customer location is a big plus
- Ability to work independently while representing/balancing the needs of Nuance and the customer
- Knowledge of PC, software, hardware, telephony and operating system skills for training, testing and troubleshooting required
- Possesses general depth and breadth of product knowledge.
- Possesses general knowledge of users’ applications. Customer satisfaction questionnaire will be done quarterly and be part of the review metrics for this position.
- Knowledge in the following core technologies: DOS, Windows 98 through XP, Windows NT, PC Literacy, Telephony, Basic Networks, Databases, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
- CTT+ Certification is highly desirable. Dictaphone product certification is also a plus.
