Our client has exciting, immediate opportunities for degreed engineers


with a strong desire to be front and center with the Customer and that possess a blend of Design, Development, Manufacturing, Cost/Quoting and Project Management


skills.


 


75% of your time will be Product Design & Ananlysis to meet Nuclear specifications and 25% of your time will involve direct Customer interface.


 


Less than 5% travel!! 


 


Performs multiple  application assignments of moderate to complex scope with minimal guidance from supervisor, engineers, or detailed procedures. Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications per specifications. Capable of reviewing complex code specifications and matching appropriate products to the applications noting any exceptions. May train other engineers and technicians within area of engineering expertise. Requires code and product knowledge and the ability to understand end customer system function through extensive communication with distributors and end customers. Coordinates activities with Service groups, Sourcing, Marketing, Operations, and external suppliers to issue quotations and process orders.


 


Must have experience doing design & analysis of products manufactured to a Code or Standard.

API

Experience: 5+ years of experience or developmental experience in a professional position. Prefer at least one year in a manufacturing or assembly support role. Hands-on experience with a variety of mechanical components and experience with ASME code compliance is preferred. Nuclear training, such as US Navy Nuclear, a plus.
