A global distributor of pumps, motors, mechanical seals, package systems and parts, is seeking a high energy, proactive, individual with a solid background in pumps, seals and industrial applications that require the movement of liquids.  

Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers and vendors in a fast-paced environment to penetrate assigned accounts
  
• Build customer relationships.  
  
• Understand customer applications and pump/seal technologies to provide product solutions.
  
• Provide technical assistance as required.
  
• This position is part of a team which also supports an outside sales group and works closely with our internal operations team to support all customer requirements. 

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of inside distribution sales experience.
  
• Minimum of 5 years experience involving technical support for pumps, seals and motors.
  
• Experience in qualifying and developing product solutions for customer RFQ’s.
  
• Experience with API and ANSI specifications.

Skills:

• Outstanding commitment to customer service.
  
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  
• Must be outgoing and comfortable in all aspects of communications with customers.
  
• Strong time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  
• Good computer skills with focus on Excel and Word.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering strongly preferred.
