Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) is the industry leading manufacturer of heat transfer equipment. We are 100% employee-owned global organization headquartered near Columbia, Maryland. We are currently in search of an Aftermarket Applications Technician to work well as part of a motivated team to achieve our corporate objectives. 

This is a technical sales support function which assists our network of independent sales representatives in their efforts to support and supply parts in an Aftermarket capacity to our customer base in the HVAC industry.

The scope of this position will include, but is not limited to:

• 
  
  Responding to high level of domestic and international representative quotation and application inquiries through oral and written communication for the Aftermarket (parts) business


• 
  
  Interact with virtually all BAC departments in order to meet the demands of BAC’s Representatives and Customers


• 
  
  Ensure all inquiries from BAC’s Sales Representatives are answered in a timely and accurate fashion


• 
  
  Occasional travel

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

·        AA Technical degree, or HS grad with technical background or experience

·        Requires a mechanical and technical aptitude in order to develop an in-depth knowledge of the product variations supplied by BAC

·        Requires excellent written and phone skills, flexibility in handling a wide range of tasks,  and attention to detail

·        Customer service orientation (internal or external customers)

·        Knowledge of BAC products and understanding of the HVAC industry

·        Knowledge of PeopleSoft, Lotus Notes, BAC Connect, and ManMan desirable

·        PC skills – Excel, Word, Access

·        Demonstrated strength in communication, problem solving, and follow-up

·        Ability to resolve complex problems in an efficient and timely manner

·        Effective presentation skills in order to present to representatives and BAC employees in multiple training events

·        Strong team player orientation required to provide customer satisfaction in a dynamic environment.

·         Candidate must have a customer-focused, “can-do”, professional demeanor
