Reviews existing appraisals submitted by third party appraisers for the purposes of determining accuracy of estimates of fair market property values, using data such as location, market trends, public records, and actual property data such as design, construction and condition; notifies the Chief Credit Officer of those appraisals which do not appropriately reflect market value | C |
Provides an escalation path for internal appraisal disputes initiated by WJB Loan Officers; reviews existing appraisals for accuracy and market appropriateness, and works with the Chief Credit Officer to determine a course of action should the appraisal be out-of-line with the market | F |
Assists the WJB management team in researching problem assessments | F |
Creates and distributes routine third-party appraisal quality control reports to the management team | |
Acts as the WJB liaison between the AIA department and third-party appraisers | C |

Utilizes industry resources and publications to maintain a current knowledge of and expertise on the national real estate market and residential mortgage trends | |

Five years experience as a retail residential appraiser required; must have experience on a national level, with focused experience in the western United States strongly preferred | R |
