Job Description:
Responsible for the safe, efficient operation of a Flexographic printing press, which consists of running tags, envelopes, etc. in accordance with established procedures and specifications.
Supervised By: Shift Supervisors / VP of Operations
Duties & Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Ø
Safe operation of equipment
Ø
Quality of materials produced
Minimizing production waste
Filling production paperwork, records, pallet tickets, job cost records, etc. as required
Set-up and changeover of press from one job to another (exception for work that is
Ø
performed by machine shop personnel, ie: dies, belts, pulleys etc.)
Assist machine shop personnel as required
Ø
Loading mill rolls onto press and unloading finished rolls
Ø
Assuring, as required, delivery of inks, plates, cores, etc to the press
Ø
Notifying supervisors when press equipment is in need of repair work
Ø
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ø
Experience with Uteco CI and Aquaflex Presses (2+ years)
