The Sr. HR Project Manager/ Designer is responsible for understanding key HR process and expertly coordinating their design, communication, measurement and training so that they are highly efficient and effective, repeatable processes that are well understood both within HR and within our customer groups.   The Sr. HR Designer is responsible for the effective coordination, implementation and execution of process design, measurement, implementation and control processes for key processes within HR.
The Sr. HR Designer works closely with the HR leadership team and other colleagues within and outside of HR to carry out the department's strategic priorities. Initiatives will vary based on company needs, but initial projects include systemization, standardization, improvement and measurement of the core processes within HR. Initial projects include development and roll out of the next version of HR department standards and institutionalizing work flows and decision making in the new context of the Total Rewards compensation structure and the Taleo candidate management system. 
Responsibilities
·         Partners with management to identify opportunities to standardize and improve key processes; Develops projects and activities in support of departmental goals
·         Plans, directs and coordinates activities to ensure that project objectives are accomplished within prescribed time, resource and budget parameters
·         Works with cross functional teams, including external and community partners, to accomplish project objectives
·         Identify and implement processes that enhance the effectiveness of the department and HR function
·         Managing the planning, scheduling and coordination of project-related events
·         Conducting workforce analyses and statistical reporting and delivering findings to internal and external stakeholders
·         Promote and maintain effective, positive working relationships with coworkers and be willing to work outside the parameters of existing job description


Qualifications:
·         Proven experience planning, directing, and coordinating large-scale projects.
·         Experience managing several projects with multiple deliverables and deadlines.
·         Proven success in collaborating across boundaries (and with no direct authority) to drive decision making that will result in best in class design
·         Proven success in proactively building relationships with customers, outside consultants, vendors, and community partners.
·         Proven ability to scan the market for fresh ideas and to innovate to bring Healthways HR programs to a new level
·         Positive, can-do attitude that will push the limits of what's possible and support others in embracing change
·         Formal training in six sigma or lean recommended
·         Strong understanding of statistical tools and measurement methodology
·         Ability to analyze data, identify trends and effectively communicate information, both orally and in writing, to internal and external customers.
·         Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to present effectively to all levels of management.
·         Strong Microsoft Office experience; specifically Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Visio, Minitab, and Outlook applications. Experience with sourcing and workforce management software helpful but not required.
·         Other desired qualifications: For-profit company experience.
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing or related field;
4-6 years planning and directing large-scale projects/operations
