Archive Implementation Consultant — Archive Software - Kroll Ontrack
About the Job
We are actively recruiting for an Archive Implementation Consultant to help introduce a new enterprise archive software product to market.
The Archive Implementation Consultant will work as a member of the professional services team to perform pre-deployment planning, solution installation and testing of Kroll Ontrack archive product installations. This position will execute a wide range of engagements on multiple platforms, and will require a solid knowledge of product architecture, and the ability to properly deploy advanced product features and product upgrades. In addition, the implementation consultant will assist clients with advanced technical troubleshooting.
The Archive Implementation Consultant will manage client expectations during the engagement, identify and resolve issues, escalating as appropriate, identify additional sales opportunities resulting from engagement work, interface with product development teams to share client feedback, generate requirements and evaluate and test new product solutions. This position will be accountable for meeting utilization and client satisfaction goals.
Travel requirements up to 90% with little advance notice, both domestic and international.

- 6+ years experience as an IT industry professional, Systems Administrator or Network Administrator roles strongly preferred.
- Experience deploying enterprise level solutions
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
- The ability to listen, comprehend and communicate on the fly
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise E-Mail Systems such as Exchange and/or Lotus Notes
- Experience with application development using C or Java preferred
- Basic HTML, XML, ASP and Javascript skills to support web installation and configuring web applications
- Strong expertise of Windows Networking and Active Directory
- Working knowledge of the Solaris Unix environment.
- Knowledge of various storage systems such as Optical jukeboxes, NAS, and SANs
