The Independent Area Account Manager will generate revenue by developing market potential through lead generation and qualification, relationship building and maintenance, and closing sales.
Activities include:
· Identifying business opportunities/ prospects, evaluating their position in the industry, and initiating the sales process by scheduling appointments and making initial presentations
· Developing relationships with prospects and recommending solutions based on understanding of account requirements
· Closing sales by building rapport with prospects, explaining our products and service capabilities, and overcoming objections
· Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports
· Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management
· Recommending new products and services by evaluating prospect/ client feedback, identifying needs to be filled and opportunities to expand sales in existing accounts
· Contributing information to market strategy by monitoring industry trends, market activities, competitive products, and reactions from prospect/ clients
The ideal candidate will possess:
· 2+ years of either Real Estate Sales or Technology Sales experience (outside sales required)
· A demonstrated ability to self-manage and motivate to meet sales goals
· Knowledge of Social Media sites
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications
· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
· Strong presentation skills
· Demonstrated prospecting, relationship building, and closing skills
