About the Job

Looking for a dynamic and energetic sales professional to accelerate business growth in the Phoenix and Tucson markets for a national Staffing Firm.  This position requires an individual that thrives in challenging and demanding roles and possesses the passion and tenacity to succeed.  The ideal candidate will have five years of proven outside sales experience in the temporary employment staffing industry.  In addition the successful candidate must have proven and documented results managing growth and retention of current and prospective customers within an established territory.   Experience in the temporary employment staffing industry is a must.  This position will participate and develop strategic sales and business development plans as well as establish sales targets to meet company financial objectives.  

 

Purpose:

This position produces monthly and annual growth budget by leading the

performance of those focused on delivering new business and developing

further business within existing accounts, and by sourcing and developing own

book of business.

 

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:

Leads area sales force to the successful fulfillment of monthly and annual

growth goals.

Manages all aspects of employment of sales force, including hiring, coaching,

performance evaluation, compensation, counseling, growth, and, if necessary,

termination.

Develops full knowledge of assigned sales territory.

Develops and implements strategy for achieving necessary sales results.

Prospects new opportunities for business.

Performs initial safety inspection of potential work site.

Secures new accounts and expands business in existing accounts by preparing

and presenting successful proposals.

Utilizes resources throughout the company to facilitate the sales process.

Develops and expands network of community contacts to maximize business

development opportunities.

Reports to Regional Vice President regularly concerning status of

efforts.

Cooperates with and engages support of operations staff to assure business is

served successfully.

Contacts clients on established schedule to assure satisfaction and explore

opportunities to expand business.

Participates in the preparation of the budget for branches within service area.

Demonstrates the company’s and the area’s core values, operating principles,

and service differentiators.

Other duties as assigned.

 

Experience/Educational Requirements:

This position requires at least 5 years’ proven sales and management

performance, and a bachelors degree or work history equivalent.
