General Summary Job Specifications
Responsible for single point accountability for results in given area as it relates to the CSCQP Process. Responsible for managing and improving the results within area as needed to contribute to the overall plant CBN and journey map. Manage the people, equipment, and processes that come together to create their end product in a way that is preferred to consumers or downstream customers. Work to grow the capability of the people in their area. Work to incorporate new reliability tools into the current systems in a way that is meaningful and drives improvement and produces extraordinary results.
Principal Accountabilities
1. 20% - Responsible for leading/managing the day-to-day activities of all area activities in order to achieve desired results.
2. 30% - Provide 1:1 coaching/feedback to direct reports and operators while leading continuous improvement planning and deployment activities in their area. Provide training, coaching, and facilitation for teams.
3. 15% - Responsible for leading and supporting problem solving and analysis activities as required in their area.
4. 15% - Lead continuous improvement planning and deployment activities in their area. Provide training, coaching, and facilitation for teams.
5. 10% - Perform Daily/Monthly Results Analysis in preparation for DDS and Monthly Gap Analysis and Review.
6. 5% - Own cross-functional results area that requires leadership and involvement across plant.
7. 5% - Perform other responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
Job Complexity
* Work across all 3 shifts and manage an operation across a 24 hour period.
* Involved in all activities: including daily management, budgeting, strategic planning (as it pertains to the area), TDC work, enabler planning, and capital forecasting process.
* Interface with multiple functions within the plant, as well as WHQ Engineering, Process & Maintenance, and Product Development.
* Manage all parts of the area.
Minimum education required: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
Education desired: Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
Years of relevant experience: 3+ years of Operations experience.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
* Cross-functional operations experience with a strong understanding of various plant functions.
* Experience and passion for introducing new techniques (i.e., change agent).
* Strong leadership, communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills.
* Promote Safety and Employee Relations.
Working Conditions
Primary shift will be determined by need, but flexibility to float to other shifts is required.
