In the Area Manager, Business Development role, this individual will lead and manage business development personnel for Insituform TechnologiesWestern Region to maximize market penetration and profitability. This person will develop strategic plans that are compatible with corporate objectives as well as ensure timely and aggressive execution of prospecting, lead generation, territory coverage, market strategy, client education and consultation, customer satisfaction and procurement strategy. As an AMBD, this individual will also oversee a comprehensive sales plan, develop and monitor sales forecasts and budgets, direct the efforts to develop and maintain area market intelligence as well as foster communications and relationships with internal and external customers.
The ideal Area Manager, Business Development candidate should possess a BS/BA with a concentration in business, finance, sales, marketing construction management or other related field. An MBA is preferred. This candidate should have a minimum of 10 years related experience with demonstrated success managing at department level or above. This individual should also have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and communicate, along with strong people management and decision making skills. EOE M/F/D/V
