Our franchise, Drive-in of Evansville, is based out of Evansville, Indiana, and was founded in 1992. We currently operate Sonic Drive-In restaurants in 13 locations situated in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.
We are currently seeking an Area Manager for the Evansville, Indiana area. Reporting to the VP of Operation, this position supports the operations of 4-5 restaurants within a specific area, depending on previous experience and demonstrated performance abilities.
POSITION SUMMARY
Provide leadership of his/her area to enhance the Sonic brand, build market share, maximize return on company assets and encourage a work environment that respects and develops the potential of our team.
Obtain performance objectives against goals set for store operations including:
Financial performance; i.e., sales, controllable expenses, operating profit vs. budget
Customer satisfaction by ensuring that we are providing fresh, quality products with fast friendly service
Employee satisfaction which includes retention, development, motivation, career growth
Execute all marketing plans and programs as designed
Know how and be able to perform every job in a Sonic restaurant
Build an effective team of employees through recruiting, training, development and meaningful, timely performance feedback
Act as a liaison between restaurant locations and head office
Support and mentor General Managers in respective area of responsibility
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years operations experience in multi-unit supervision of fast food / fast casual / casual dining restaurants
Smart, self starter, motivated, results oriented
Ability to effectively manage multiple business issues and activities concurrently
People management skills to effectively assess, develop, motivate and direct staff
Strong initiative and drive to achieve operation excellence
A Bachelor’s degree in business, restaurant management, or closely-related field desirable; however, experience will be considered in lieu of education
Strong PC knowledge and word processing skills
