Area Operations Manager - Bilingual

The number one company in the industry is currently looking for an Area Operations Manager for the Miami FL location. This person will manage all fleet operations for branches located in Miami, West Palm and Fort Myers. This is a new position and you will have 3 direct reports and 100+ total employees.

Qualified candidates:

·          Must have 3-5 years of operations management experience in the transportation industry involving fleet/route management

·          Have excellent verbal and written skills

·          Understand cost restraints (P&L)

·          Possess excellent computer knowledge

·          A four year college degree is preferred

·          Strong customer service experience is also required

·          Must have a stable work history; no job hoppers

·          Bilingual in Spanish preferred

·          Union experience a plus

·          Must be able to pass a complete background check including driving, credit and criminal
