POSITION PROFILE
The Area Print Program Manager implements IKON’s printer fleet strategy at an Area level. The Program Manager is responsible for ongoing pre-sales support, opportunity analysis, project management and implementation of customer printer fleet installations. The Program Manager understands printer fleet dynamics, strategy, processes and pricing models. The Program Manager acts in an overlay capacity to the IKON general sales force and is not a direct sales rep.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as the Area-based subject matter expert relative to IKON’s printer fleet management programs, services and hardware/software
Understands and delivers all printer fleet management tools to IKON Sales, PS and other resources as appropriate
Serves as the project manager for all printer fleet engagements in the Area
Provides training and direction to Area sales force relative to IKON’s printer fleet management programs and in the identification and development of printer fleet opportunities
Performs administrative functions associated with printer fleet including management of order placement, installations, supply set-up, equipment inventory & tagging and related activities.
Actively collaborates with IKON resources in Sales, Supply Chain, Billing, Marketing and elsewhere to ensure seamless integration of the printer fleet strategy into mainline sales
Works collaboratively with peers, National Accounts and others on multi-Area opportunities
Actively develops pricing for printer fleet opportunities through use of IKON’s printer fleet Bid Desk has limited discretion to adjust pricing locally
Actively engages with local sales in the identification and pursuit of printer fleet opportunities with new and existing customers
Supports sales opportunities by providing information on product capabilities and technical specifications, applications, pricing, positioning, business case analysis and related tactical assistance.
Owns the account review process for printer fleet-only customers assists with the account review process for all other accounts with printer fleet services
Compiles the status of accounts, oversees the rules of engagement and identifies roadblocks to cooperation. Keeps management informed regularly as to the status of this initiative.
Builds credibility through sold deals and continual communication. Publishes “wins” and case studies as appropriate.
Monitors and reports upon the pipeline for printer fleet opportunities. Identifies and escalates any inhibitors within IKON with respect to the initiative
Keeps current on new printer product developments, competitive services and industry trends provides feedback as appropriate to Marketing and other IKON resources
Assists in drafting document (print) assessments for delivery to clients. Locally, owns the methodology for delivering assessments to prospects.
Participates in the development of the annual business plan for printer fleet and suggests adjustments to the Plan as required.
Actively collects and reports on customer satisfaction - responds appropriately.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Advises Sales quarterly of supply and kit usage versus quantity included in customer contracts.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications) Four-year College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum of 2 years project management experience supporting national program rollouts preferred.
Prior experience in a pre-sales role preferred
Prior experience selling, servicing or managing printer fleets preferred.
