Western Region (California, Northwest or Southwest)

Global Chemical Manufacturer has an immediate opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join the existing US Commercial Team.  Responsibilities include prospecting for and developing new business, as well as, managing the existing customer base.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Business, Food Science, Chemistry or a related discipline.  In addition, they must have an aptitude for understanding technical information relating to chemical products and their end-use applications.

Minimum requirements include 2-years of direct sales experience into the food, industrial, water treatment or other similar markets.  Food industry experience, knowledge of phosphates and/or regional customer base and key applications is highly desirable.  Bilingual Spanish fluency a plus.

The successful candidate will work from their home office and be responsible for the Western Region, which includes:  Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Washington, Nevada, California, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and Oregon.  Frequent overnight travel is required.  A company vehicle will be provided and a valid drivers license is a job requirement.
