Description:
Work will consist of assembly and alignment of optical components and hardware per assembly work instructions (AI’s) and testing of precision electro-optical assemblies per AI’s, prints and/or engineering instructions. Complete all necessary written documentation as it applies to production routers. Communicate with the area Group Leader or Team Leader on the status of work in process.
Job requires:
- Standing during the work day
- Walking short distances during the work day
- Bending at the waist during the work day
- Lifting and/or Carrying <15 lbs during the work day
- 1-3 years of precision electro-optical assembly and test experience, or equivalent work experience
- Good computer skills, communication skills and works well with others in a teaming environment
- Optical Assembly alignment and test experience with 12” and 18” interferometers
- Experience with MTF (Modulation Transfer Function) testing of precision optical assemblies
- Associates degree in Laser Optics
