ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
In this role you will coordinate the set-up of on-site assessments for the Assessment Services division. You will also supply research information on the services provided by agencies across the country for purposes of care coordination.
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Telephonically coordinate on-site assessments with our network of nurses and agencies.
2. Document calls and any action taken regarding on-site referrals and provide appropriate assessments to network assessors via fax.
3. Performs the appropriate follow-up for timely return of completed assessments and/or gather completed assessments if missing or illegible pages.
4. Research agencies regarding available home care services and pricing.
5. Negotiate provider rates for the most cost-effective services for the client and complete provider research forms with all needed information.
6. Provide information regarding providers to the Care Coordinator supervisors and communicate any problems or delays in set-up/return of assessments.
7. Assist in maintaining the Claims Network databases and has a clear understanding of the claims process.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school degree required
2. 1+ years administrative experience required; preferably 2 years
3. 1+ years customer service experience in a fast pace environment required
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel)
5. Must type at least 40 words per minute
6. Ability to negotiate and persuade customers/network of nurses and agencies
7. Ability to be detail oriented and analyze processes and/or implement innovative ideas to improve efficiencies
8. Strong problem-solving, decision-making and organizational skills
9. Ability to communicate effectively and handle demanding people over the phone
10. Ability to work well as part of a team and has strong interpersonal skills
11. Ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor
