Role Summary/Purpose
The Asset Optimization Senior Engineer will utilize strong technical experience, cross-team collaboration and excellent communication skills. In this role you will assist management with achieving the company's goals for product releases, product quality and technical innovation.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a high performing fast pace team producing software for industrial automation applications
  • Capture and document functional requirements precisely, turn these requirements into clear designs, and turn these designs into working software with high quality
  • Analyze techniques for predictive / prognostic models for automation equipment, preferably in Energy other fields

    Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other
  • Minimum 1 year experience on scaling software systems to large enterprise level systems
  • Minimum 1 year experience in at least 2 disciplines including Service Oriented Architectures, Database design, application architectures, asset management, process analytics
  • Minimum 1 year experience in structured software development experience in C# and/or C++ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Availability and ability to travel throughout the United States

    Desired Characteristics
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft .NET, SQL, with understanding of cross platform issues when integrating to non-Microsoft operating systems
  • Working knowledge of databases, data modeling, star-schemas, and OLAP techniques
  • Candidate should be a team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and influencing; excellent business analytical skills; and excellent written and verbal communications are required
  • Domain experience - Energy systems, T&D / power gen systems, Electrical distribution protocols and standards or background & schooling in electrical engineering / physical sciences
  • Experience in Software Development using Microsoft Visual Studio/Development tools
  • Cross platform development experience helpful
  • Familiarity with a variety of software development life cycle process, software architectures and design patterns.
