Role Summary/Purpose
The Asset Optimization Software Engineer will utilize strong technical experience, cross-team collaboration and excellent communication skills. In this role you will assist management with achieving the company's goals for product releases, product quality and technical innovation.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain software and hardware test systems and environments across GE Sensing, GE Security and GE Fanuc products
  • Contribute to cross functional team
  • Design and develop quality code to ensure released products meet release criteria
  • Effectively manage assignments, apply good judgment in prioritizing task and works well with diverse cross-functional GE teams

    Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering or Science degree or other
  • Minimum 2 years experience with .net technologies (C#, C++, VB .net)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in WPF, Silverlight, REST development
  • Minimum 2 years experience with C, C++ and COM technologies
  • Minimum 2 years of technical experience
