ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assists Divisional Merchandise Manager, Senior Buyers, Buyers and Associate Buyers in obtaining customer appropriate merchandise for assigned categories.  Liaisons with Inventory Control, Technical Design and Creative Production departments as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  (Special skills, knowledge, ability, education, etc.)

The successful candidate will have a college degree preferably in fashion merchandising or textiles with one or more years of experience as a Buyer’s assistant or as a retail store associate.  Candidates must also be proficient with Word and Excel, be extremely organized, detail oriented, flexible, team and results oriented, like to work in a fast paced environment and able to multi-task. Good communication skills are a must.  A desire to work in the fashion industry is a plus!
