Assistant Buyer

Responsibilities include:
- Assisting our buyers with purchase order confirmations
- Order expediting
- Issue resolution
- Assessing receiving discrepancies
- Coordination and transfer of expired, defective and slow moving product
- Continuous communication with suppliers, sales and customer service regarding purchase orders and shipping information
Qualifications:
- Detail oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- PC literate in MS office application
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
- Previous assistant buying experience or extensive experience in a service related position is preferred
