There are specific technical and soft skill requirements for the role. The person hired will be able to make change and impact policies and procedures in the Accounting/Finance department. The specific technical requirements include a strong knowledge of GAAP (from public accounting) and strong SEC reporting experience. Other requirements include a public/ private mix, at least 4 yrs. experience in a leadership role responsible for SEC reporting in a company with revenues < $500m, proven experience leading and mentoring staff, and experience identifying and implementing change and process improvement within an Accounting/Finance department.
