Assistant Coordinator for Scheduling

About the Job

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) and Morris University Center invite applications for an Assistant Coordinator for Scheduling. This position is responsible for developing and coordinating events scheduled primarily in
the University Center. Responsibilities include reserving the space, identifying set-up needs, and developing budgets. Position may require on-site event coordination during evenings and weekend hours.

A Bachelor's degree is required with two years experience in a related field such as hotel or special events management. Commitment to a service orientation is essential. Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills are required. The position requires basic knowledge of computers for scheduling and for using design software.
