New York College of Osteopathic Medicine at NYIT seeks an Assistant Director to support the functions of the College’s Institute for Clinical Competence (ICC) for both Old Westbury and St. Barnabas campuses. Reporting to the Director of Virtual Medicine, the Assistant Director will screen all Standardized Patients and assist with the preparation of all necessary documentation; schedule all ICC activities and coordinate meetings; collect data and track the progress of special projects; maintain files and appropriate correspondence; prepare mailings, memoranda and reports as required; work closely with program directors on both campuses and manage ICC budgets.
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years with program coordination required. Excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills required. Experience working with standardized patients in a virtual medicine environment preferred.
