Assistant Director of Nursing – Los Angeles

American Career College (ACC) has been helping people succeed for over 30 years, and we are currently recruiting for a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing for our Los Angeles campus. This is an outstanding opportunity for a service oriented individual to help our students begin their journey toward their new careers.

As Assistant Director of Nursing, you will fulfill outlined administrative functions for both clinical and theory/classroom components of the school.  Direct and coordinate clinical and theory staff.  Promote, maintain public relations and visit clinical facilities.  Interview and screen new applicants for the VN Program.  Monitor attendance and performance of current students.  Also, assume full control of program in the absence of the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school is required, but a MSN is preferred.  Current Drivers’ License, California RN license, and CPR are required.  You MUST also posses a minimum of three (3) years practical experience as an RN and have at least one (1) year experience in teaching, educational management, OR administrative work to qualify.
