Position Description:
Partsmaster, a division of NCH Corporation and a leader in the industrial maintenance and repair products field, is currently seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager. This position reports to and supports the VP of Marketing by supporting the product vision, assisting with product lifecycle management, gathering market and competitive data, analyzing trends and completing additional tasks to support sales and marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support marketing plans for existing products and new product launches
- Analyze existing product lines to identify growth opportunities
- Assist in creating customer acquisition programs to gain share in select market
- Support product management efforts including consumer research, market analysis, product design and launch activities for select projects
- Continually drive product differentiation among our competitors
- Coordinate the efforts of the functional departments, as required, to ensure that the programs are executed within the timeline and budget
- Support and interface with direct sales force at all management levels
Position Requirements:
Qualifications
- Four-year college degree, Business or Marketing degree desired
- At least 2 years of business experience in a marketing environment of industrial products in the MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) space with demonstrated, successful experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills are essential
- Results driven individual who is analytical, self-motivated and detail oriented
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment
- Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Innovative and strategic, an out-of-the-box-thinker
- Hands-on approach to product with a DIY mentality
- Ability to create consensus and work cooperatively in a team environment li>
