NewCourtland Network in Philadelphia is seeking an Assistant Nursing Home Administrator to assist the Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) in the operation of the facility. While assuming responsibility in the absence of the NHA, you may supervise, direct, and coordinate functions of one or more departments to assure that the highest degree of quality care is consistently provided to the residents. You will assist in monitoring quality assurance in all departments in the facility, as well as meet regularly on a one-to-one basis and in groups with department heads to review objectives, share information and accomplishments, evaluate, and problem solve.
The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science or a related discipline or have an equivalent combination of education and experience. A current active license as a Nursing Home Administrator in Pennsylvania, or progression toward that goal, one year of administrative experience in long term care, as well as successful completion of a 12-week internship program approved by the State is required.
