Assistant Product Analyst
Looking for a New Career Opportunity as an Assistant Product Analyst?
The focus of this role is to support, research and position Kemper’s products and services strategically in the market, build company revenues and meet corporate objectives.The Assistant Product Analyst will provide regional support for product, pricing and business data needs and analysis.This position is critical to ensure that the products we sell and prices we set are regulatory compliant and positioned well for growth and profitability.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring rate, rule and business practices are in compliance with state laws and regulations
Keeping countrywide initiatives current by state
Filing prospective changes with state departments of insurance
Introducing program enhancements and rate changes into the market
Assisting in resolution of agency system, rate and processing problems
Monitoring competitive position and market trends
Assisting in reviewing product proposals
Position Requirements:
One to three years in an analytical role
Personal Lines Insurance Industry experience strongly preferred
Extensive Computer Skills including proficiency with Excel & Access
College degree in Math, Finance, Statistics, Insurance or Business or the equivalent in work experience
Superior problem solving using quantitative and analytical skills to make data driven decisions
Strong understanding of statistical concepts
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and staff
Must be able to work effectively independently and with others in a team environment
Proven organizational, time management and project management skills
Creativity and innovation
